Anime Mood is an avatar creator for both the web and mobile platforms, developed in HTML5.
Concept
The idea behind Anime Mood was to enable people to create an image of their avatar – anime style -, while also matching their mood of the day. This image could then be shared on their social networks. At the time of the app’s creation, in 2016, there weren’t many well designed avatar apps or stickers’ creators widely available.
Interface design
The user interface was designed as responsive and a few usability tests were conducted to help fine tune the usability.
Artwork
The artwork was created in layers that can be matched to create countless avatar possibilities. Pastel colors make for better overall color harmony.
